Marianna Cheklin

Artificial intelligence has always been my fascination, having worked in technology for over 20 years. Much of my career has been focused around data and analytics, I therefore pursued a graduate degree in data science from Monash University. I have also completed courses on entrepreneurship and marketing for business, and subsequently run my own ecommerce business. I've won a few entrepreneurship competitions along the way, and learned a great deal from fellow entrepreneurs.   

Other than my full time work as a technology project manager, I teach part time at University of Sydney and University of Technology Sydney. I am currently pursuing a PhD from UTS. My thesis looks at how intelligent systems can improve disaster response management. My hobbies include building market analytics bots and using machine learning and AI. My first bot was for finding property investment opportunities in Australia. Other bots look for opportunities in the stock market and crypto.
