Donate to the college

Donate to the college at Sydney Community College

Why Donate?

"Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself."

— John Dewey

At Sydney Community College, we endeavour to help those who might not have the financial means to access education. Our goal is to enrich lives, strengthen individuals, and help build communities through high-quality education and training.

Not all members of our community can readily access our educational opportunities. We have long supported victims of domestic violence, individuals on very low incomes, and those with culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds to access education. People wanting to learn who present a case of hardship are offered a fee-free place in the class of their choice.

There are costs in doing so and your donation will assist the College to continue this worthwhile support. Please consider becoming a donor — your efforts may change another person's life.

Domestic Violence Survivors Access to education as a pathway to independence
Low-Income Learners Fee-free places for those experiencing financial hardship
Culturally Diverse Communities Inclusive education for learners from all backgrounds
