Kate Baker

Currently a practising artist based in Sydney, Kate regularly exhibits both nationally and internationally. She graduated with First Class Honours from the Glass Workshop at the Australian National University School of Art (Canberra).

Kate has taught glassmaking techniques in several contexts, including as a lecturer and demonstrator at Sydney College of the Arts.

A finalist in several art prizes both here and overseas, Kate was the winner of the biennial juried international glass competition e-merge at Bullseye Glass in the USA in 2010.

In 2014 she founded Studio4, a creative studio collective in Sydenham with a purpose-built glass studio where she is currently based.
