Lynn Smith

Lynn Smith is an exhibiting artist, curator & photography tutor with 2 Masters degrees: Master of Documentary Photography & Master of Fine Arts (by research). 

Lynn has designed & taught street photography courses for 15 years: with USyd's short course division, the ANU's Centre for Continuing Education & PhotoAccess (both in Canberra), and The Australian Centre for Photography, Sydney. 

Lynn's method is positive reinforcement: no one & no image is criticised. If Lynn is indifferent to an image he is silent. If he's impressed he explains why. He encourages his students to maintain this positive attitude. 

Prior to taking up photography as a vocation, Lynn was an international award-winning writer & creative director with ad agencies in 5 countries.
