Katherine Boniadian

Katherine Boniadian is a Sydney based fibre artist, specialising in felt making. She has a background in fine arts, but fell in love with felt making in 2015 after an introductory felt making class. Since then Katherine has learned extensively from local and international felt artists - including travelling to Europe in 2018 to attend workshops with master Hungarian felters.

Katherine has presented felt making workshops at The Craft and Quilt Fair (Sydney) and a retreat during Sydney Craft Week. She also runs workshops from her studio and sells her own felted creations at Timeless Textiles, a gallery in Newcastle dedicated to the fibre arts and artisans.

An award winner in the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW Arts and Crafts competition, Katherine is an active member of the Australia Textiles and Surface Design Association (ATASDA).
