Payal Bhargava

Payal is an accomplished and experienced crochet teacher with over 10 years of experience in the craft. She has worked in the publishing and business development industry for many years, where she was involved with a number of art and craft magazine titles.

Her passion for craft led her to learn and research the art of crochet as a way to escape the stressful world of business. She eventually left her corporate life to raise her young family and to devote more time to crochet and teaching. 

She now operates her own company which specialises in Mindful Craft - which she believes is a pathway to creative meditation.

Payal enjoys teaching crochet as a way to help her students relax and focus. She enjoys forming 'crafting communities' within her classes, and creating a space where students can unlock their creativity and achieve mindfulness with like-minded crafters.

When she is not crocheting or teaching, Payal designs her own projects focusing on the interplay of colours and patterns. Her ambition is to inspire everyone to express their own creativity by using a hook and yarn.
