Experience
Adla has taught Arabic language to adults and children in Australia since 2013.
In 2015 she worked with the Defence Force and University of Queensland Institute of Modern Languages, teaching Arabic language and cultural awareness to troops about to be deployed to the Middle East.
She is also a mental health advocate within the Arabic community in Sydney, focused on raising awareness of issues that affect the Arabic speaking community, and improving the community’s ability to access support and services.
Teaching style
Adla is a personable, enthusiastic language teacher with experience in teaching a diverse range of students from young children through to senior citizens, from beginners to advanced levels.
This includes the preparation of lesson plans and programs, according to syllabus requirements, that not only expand on student’s strengths but encourages students to delve deeper into the Arabic language.
