Dr. Tailoi Chan-Ling brings diverse insights to the Sydney Community College Board from over a decade as a student at the college, which complements her extensive academic and professional background.
With a career spanning the University of Sydney, UNSW, and international institutions, Dr Ling has mentored over 40 Young Investigator awardees and held numerous executive and committee positions in scientific societies and community organisations. Dr Ling was also Professor of developmental neurobiology and visual science – Sydney University; National Health & Medical Research Council and Principal Research Fellow and Chief Scientific Officer GreenLight Clinical.
Tailoi is trained in mental health first aid and governance, holding GAICD and WOBSX alumni qualifications. Her strategic planning experience aims to enhance course offerings, widen community participation and to work collaboratively with other entities to create a sustainable future for the college.
