Some of the following techniques may be covered in the workshop: locking-in, layering, wet-on-wet, dry brushing and glazing.

What we provide

  • A4 canvas paper
  • Image of a Landscape scene
  • Acrylic paint mediums
  • Basic paintbrushes
  • One 12in. x 16in canvas.

What to bring to class

  • A3 or A4 size cartridge paper for drawing warm-up (3 sheets)
  • A variety of brushes
  • Graphite pencils
  • Fabric rags
  • You may wish to bring in your own Acrylic paints in a variety of colours.
  • Landscape image, picture or printout for inspiration (optional)

Additional information

Please note the following: 

  • Closed-in shoes required
  • Please wear old clothes
  • Long hair should be tied back
